عبارات الاسف والاعتذار باللغة الانجليزية

البعض قد لايحتار في تقديم كلمة واحدة باللغة الانجليزية للاعتذار وهي sorry..
ولكن هناك قواعد عامة لتقديم عبارات الاعتذار... لأبدأها معكم بهذه الامثلة ..

We can apologize in different ways in different situations

العبارة المستخدمة والشائعة
The default way is to say "sorry"

I am sorry.


It is a general apology and you can use it if you do something wrong.

or

I am terribly sorry
or

I am so sorry
or


I am awafully sorry


These sentences for a strong apology.

or

I am really sorry I am late.

When you are late for an appointment.

Sorry to keep you waiting. I won't be long

Someone is waiting to see you and you are busy.

In formal situation, we often use apologize and apology:

I must apologies for being late.

I would like to apology for the delay.

Please accept our apologies for the mistakes in your order.

But, I think you have hastily posted it, so the words in red should be replaced by - apologize - am I right?
